Biography: Sarah graduated from the University of Bristol in 1986 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and an intercalated degree in Anatomical Science. She worked in mixed practice in the Cotswolds where her main interest was dairy herd health and she gained an RCVS Certificate in Cattle Health and Production (1992). After moving to central Scotland in 1994, she changed to doing mostly small animal work. In 2001, Sarah did an MSc in computing science at the University of Glasgow and then a PhD (2003–2006) developing and validating the Haptic Cow: a virtual reality (VR) simulator used in veterinary training. Sarah joined LIVE in 2006 and is a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Education.
