As part of the LIVE team Carol is actually based at the Faculty of Veterinary Science in Liverpool. The aim of the project is to produce high quality, ready-to-use educational material for both undergraduate and postgraduate groups. It will also involve development, utilisation and evaluation of novel teaching and assessment methods, and research into teaching strategies for the development of communication skills in the veterinary context.

Carol works closely with other members of the RVC, which are involved in the further development of communication skills training (e.g. Belinda Yamagishi and Helen Shore, who coordinate the use of the communication skills training facilities in the LIVE Centre, Helen Shore is also based in the LIVE Centre).
