Online Resouce: An Introduction to Interprofessional Education - learning about, from and with the veterinary team

I am really happy to announce the launch of ‘An Introduction to Interprofessional Education - learning about, from and with the veterinary team’ accessible via: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/toolkits/play_5724. This is an online tool which is free and available to students of all veterinary professions and occupations from across the globe!

The tool is the result of a collaborative project between myself at the RVC/LIVE, Sarah Baillie at University of Bristol and Liz Mossop at University of Nottingham. It has been a while in the making, but we are all so pleased it’s finally out there!!

We believe veterinary specific interprofessional education is very important, but acknowledge the challenges with setting up face to face sessions within colleges and universities. This tool therefore offers a first step, and introduction to the concept of interprofessional working, which can be accessed by students at a time and location convenient to them.
